1968: The White Album and its Aftermath

Ray Connolly & Ken Womack in conversation

OK, imagine you’re one of The Beatles. You have released ‘Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and it has been, both commercially and critically received as one of the greatest albums EVER.

Question: How do you follow it up?

To celebrate National Album Day please join Beatles insider and veteran journalist, Ray Connolly, as he talks about his experiences with the Fab Four and their entourage in a seminal year for the band, alongside acclaimed Beatles biographer and academic, Kenneth Womack.

Ray Connolly is the author of the new book BEING JOHN LENNON, an insightful but personal portrait of the man he knew well. Kenneth Womack is author of MAXIMUM VOLUME and SOUND PICTURES, the first fascinating biography of the 'Fifth Beatle', Sir George Martin.  Both books will be available to purchase (and get signed!) on the evening.
