Have you ever thought to yourself “I wonder who has visited more records shops than any other human?”
Me neither to be honest, but for those of you that have your search is over.
For on the 29th November 2018 Matters Of Vinyl Importance are proud to announce author Graham Jones will be visiting and reading excerpts and sharing some fascinating and hilarious anecdotes told to him by record shop staff and gathered together in his latest book 'The Vinyl Revival And The Shops That Made It Happen’
'The Vinyl Revival and the Shops That Made It Happen' also explains why we have more than a hundred more record shops than we had in 2009, and how others have gained the reward from their hard work. Budget turntables, manufactures, supermarkets, chain stores, clothes shops, pressing plants and even the government are among the many who have benefited from their efforts.
One of the founders of Proper Music Distribution, Graham is also the author of “Last Shop Standing: Whatever Happened to Record Shops?” and “Strange Requests and Comic Tales from Record Shops.”
Grahams books will be available to purchase (and get signed!) on the night.
Tickets £5.00 inc first drink!
